I have a discussion on the topic. This week is the country of Japans. Why? because, Japanese country is unique and there are some specials in their eating procedures.
Do you know that table manner in the country of Japanese? Surely you have often seen in some electronic media or on youtube about table manners in that country. Do you think the special one is certainly in a table manner? And how is the ethics of eating food or in your opinion the Asian country this one is similar to the ethics of eating with other Southeast Asian countries? Okay, there must be something different. Than you curious guys, let's follow one topic on my blog today, such as:
Table Manner is the ethics of eating and eating procedures that have become a habit of people in the country. Alright guys, here are the Japanese people's eating procedures:
A. Before eating say "Itadaki-masu"
In Japan, having its own uniqueness before eating must say "Itadaki-masu" Which means: "Gratefully received". So, you also have to follow the direction of eating in that country.
B. How to eat with chopsticks:
- Hold the chopstick in the position of the right hand and you should not flip the chopsticks that you hold.
- When you have finished eating. Then place the chopsticks on top of the bowl. That's a sign that you have finished eating.
Note:
✓ Do not lay your chopsticks across each other is considered bad luck.
✓Rice bowl within which are standing chopsticks. That isn't very respectful. You will be said to be rude by the homeowner. And you can see this picture below:
D. Place chopsticks together and parallel to your table
For those of you who don't know, guys. I tell you. When you have finished eating or pausing when eating. Then place the chopsticks in a parallel position and lie on your table.
Note:
✓ Don't stick chopsticks on food. Or above the rice bowl. This is very feasible and is prohibited in the country's cultured eating habits. Why can't chopsticks be stuck on rice or food? Because, it can resemble incense.
✓ second, don't also position your chopsticks like the letter X. Because, because according to Chinese beliefs. The position of letter X can be interpreted as "death".
✓ Don't also give food to your partner through one chopstick with your partner's chopsticks. This is considered an impolite thing.
In this below there's appetizers menus, main course menus and dessert menus, such as:
1. Appetizers
Appetizers is part of a meal that's served before the main course. You can see this picture below:
Spicy Edamame スパイシー枝豆
Coated with spicy garlic miso, this Spicy Edamame recipe brings the popular Japanese snack up a notch with its perfect mix of peppery spice and aromatic garlic flavor.
Harumaki 春巻き
To prep ahead for your party, you can make the fillings the night before. These crispy Japanese Spring Rolls make the perfect finger foods.
2. Main Course
Main course is part of a meal that's served. You can see picture below:
Hiyashi Tanuki
Hiyashi Tanuki Udon is cold Udon noodles with a cold sauce and Tenkasu, fried Tempura batter crumbs. It is very refreshing but also satisfyingly rich from the Tempura crumbs. Hiyashi Tanuki Udon is a great dish during summer when you don’t want to make complicated dishes in a hot kitchen. If you have your Mentsuyu (a multi-purpose sauce) and Tenkasu handy (especially in a bag), the hardest part of the cooking is done.
Nanbanzuke
Nanbanzuke is marinated fried fish in vinegar sauce with vegetables. It is a deep-fried dish, but, because of the vinegar in the sauce, this has a rather refreshing flavor. Nanbanzuke is more home-cooking than restaurant food, so it may not be found at Japanese restaurants in the US very often.
Dishes
Dishes is sort of meal that's close served. You can see this picture below:
Chocolate Gateau (Chocolate Cake) ガトーショコラ
A rich and decadent chocolate cake is always a classic dessert to bake come holiday season. Moist, dark, and crumbly, this Chocolate Gateau will make everyone happy. If you prefer a more chocolatey flavor, you can slather it with fudgy frosting or chocolate ganache. Or keep it simple with fresh raspberries and powdered sugar on top. It’s utterly divine.
